When you hear leather, what comes to your mind? A belt? A tote bag? A wallet? Or perhaps you’re grandfather’s favorite jacket? If so then you and I are alike! We belong to the same culture, The Leather Culture!
It all started with a craftsman tailor and a downtown salesperson, my grandparents! My Nana was a master in craft, tailoring the perfect suits and local wear which gave him recognition among his peers. My grandfather was an owner of a garment shop and had a great reputation for being an honest salesman! At the time, they were indeed best at their work, but sadly it all came to an end in the late 80s due to some unfortunate events.
However, decades later, with craftsmanship in blood, and a salesman mindset, I decided to take on their legacy and start in the field that interest me the most! Leather! Since the start of time, for humans, leather has been the most crafted material used for various needs till date! From protective battle gear to luxury jackets, leather products have been a part of us. In every culture, we find a use for it, a reason to love it and rely on its toughness!
In 2021, I started research on leather qualities globally and the types of leather used for various products. After going through a list of leather vendors, I was able to find the best craftsman from whom I can learn and trust them with the products they make. Over time, I have learned the craft of leather product making and all are products listed are either made by me or one of my trusty vendors!
My purpose here at Leather Culture is to provide my customers with a dependable leather product, custom to their liking and at a fair price!
